This short river – its course is just under 20 miles – rises on Blaen-pennal to flow via Llangeitho and Talsarn to enter the Irish Sea at Aberaeron. The river’s good run of sea trout begins in June with the salmon run being smaller. Though brown trout are said to be plentiful, they are on the small side. Associa-tions offer some chance while far-mers in the middle reaches often give permission.
