Ashby Canal

This canal – also known as the Moira Canal and as the Ashby de la Zouch Canal – flows south from Snarestone in Leicestershire via Market Bosworth and Hinckley to join the Coventry Canal at Bed-worth. The coarse fish it offers are mainly small, roach, bream and perch predominating with the occasional tench. Access for visitors is reasonable. Convenient centres are Bulkington, Hinckley, Market Bosworth and Snarestone. Rod Licence: STWA (Trent River Division)
