Berriedale

Also known as Berriedale Water, this river rises on Knockfin Heights (1,438 ft). Its upper reaches are known by the gaelic name, Feith Gaineimh Mhor. The name Berriedale is assumed as the river begins to pass along the northern slopes of Maiden Pap (1,587 ft) below which the river flows on to enter the sea at Berriedale.
