CHESHIRE

Cheshire is famous for its meres and the chance of catching some of the huge bream to be found in them. Though many of these fine fish weigh into double figures, they are not easy to catch. With one or two exceptions, it is a coarse fish county. Apart from the big bream which occasionally hit the headlines in the angling press, there are also waters containing large tench and pike.
