Not well blessed for Stillwater fisheries, the best in this county are the trout fisheries controlled by the NWA, details of which are given below.

Cornwall welcomes anglers. In terms of Stillwater, the greatest number of facilities are offered in the reservoirs controlled by the SWWA. Most are stocked with trout though it is understood the Authority are considering the conversion of some of them into coarse fisheries in the not too distant future. Trout in these reservoirs average about 1 lb, the biggest – brown and rainbows both weighing more than 6 lb – came from the Argal and College complex near Falmouth. There are also a number of other trout and coarse fish lakes in the county, some operated privately, others by associations, all with good access for visitors. BUGLE

Tin Dene Rshery This complex of three lakes appears to contain some of the biggest coarse fish in Cornwall. It has yielded carp to 25 lb and roach to 2 lb 2 oz.
