Coventry Canal

This canal runs north from Coventry to link with the Birmingham-Fazeley Canal at Fazeley Junction. En route, it also links with the Oxford Canal (at Hawkesbury Junction) and the Ashby Canal (at Marston Junction). A coarse fishery of variable potential it offers easy access to visitors with Coventry AA (seasonal membership open to all), having the major holding. A small water, also known as the Cranfleet Cut, which runs from the Trent immediately below the letter’s junction with the Erewash Canal. There is access for visitors to a short section.
