This coarse fish river rises near Debenham in Suffolkand windsfor a distance of some 30 miles to enter the North Sea through a long estuary extending from Wood-bridge to Felixstowe ferry. This lower stretch of 8} miles is navigable for sizeable boats. Fish most often encountered and in reasonable numbers are roach and perch. Rod Licence: AWA (Essex Rivers Division)
