Dwyfach

Rising near Tal’n Lon, the Dwyfach crosses the Lleyn Peninsula to enter Cardigan Bay west of Cric-cieth. The sea trout fishing is good, extending from June through to October with night fishing likely to provide the best results. The salmon fishing is recently much improved. In the higher reaches, trout are more predominant. Reasonable facilities for visitors are available through local tackle shops.

DWYFAWR

This river – also spelt Dwyfor -rises on the eastern slopes of Gar-nedd Goch (2,408 ft) to join the Dwyfach below Llanystumdwy. The fishing is similar to that in the parent river with reasonably good possibilities for visitors.
