Most of the fishing facilities in Man-chester are provided by the city’s Recreation Department, the majority of the waters below being in public parks. Some have only opened comparatively recently and ought, the department tell us, to be considered experimental. The Chorlton Water Park Scheme, planned to provide fishing, sailing and swimming facilities, is in course of development and as time goes on will provide good sport for anglers.
