Inver

Another Highland river which pro-duces superb summer sport with grilse and to a slightly lesser extent sea trout. It flows from Loch Assynt into the sea at Lochinverand is pre-served. General access is probably easier on its southern neighbour, the Kirkaig, which produces some big autumn salmon by small West Coast river standards.

The area abounds with first-class trout lochs and, despite the privacy of much of the salmon fishing in the district, the angler will not go short of sport.
