Tawe

Rising south of Fforest Ffawr, the Tawe strikes south-west through the Swansea Valley via Ystradgyn-lais and Pontardawe to enter the sea at Swansea. Though still polluted in its lower reaches, salmon and sea trout are now running again up this river which, in its upper reaches, offers trout fishing. Rod Licence: WNWDA (South west River Division)
