Rising on the slopes of Mynydd Bach (1,092 feet), this river first runs alongside the B4340 road and, later, the B4575 to enter Cardigan Bay at Aberystwyth. In addition to trout, it attracts salmon and sea trout though is not rated as good as its northerly neighbour, the Rheidol. Opportunities for visitors are reasonable.
